Our theme is passion, with chocolate and roses everywhere!  Of course all the flowers will be red red roses, and the desserts will all be chocolate.  I’m even having the caterers put a splash of cranberry juice in our champagne glasses!  Oh and of course the chocolate fountain with all red fruits and some other yummies!  Candles everywhere!  Very romantic and passionate

I’m not sure what you’d call our theme, but we decided that most weddings are staid and uptight, so we wanted something fun and unusual. We’re going to have pinwheels, candy, and legos on the table (my Fiance favorite toy to this day- he’ll make a great dad 🙂 ), a cupcake wedding tower, and lemonade, sweet tea, and homey-style foods. It’ll be inexpensive and fun- just how we like to live! 🙂 I’m still hunting for more ideas to incorporate, so let me know if you think of anything!

Similar to "beesting", I am planning a 1940’s themed outdoor wedding at a park that has a lot of great history!  (http://www.washco-md.net/public_works/parks/penmar.htm) Not sure of my colors yet.. maybe some green and aqua tones?

Beesting ~ i’d be interested in hearing some of your ideas!

Well I dont know much about themes… however if one of your colors is grass green, have you thought about doing wheat grass centerpieces?

I think they are quite easy and beautiful

we’re getting married at the college we went to so we have a sort of “college-sweethearts” theme using our college colors. That’s about all we have set up really but we’re hoping to include things like penent flags and other things similar.

Our theme is Halloween! But not in a cheesy, costumy way. We’re also incorporating polka dots, which are my favorite! lol

I love themes! Love the Italian thing with Olive Oil… sounds beautiful!

Our subtle theme is PUGS! They were on our save the dates, and will probably be on table #’s, our photo request cards, in our pictures, buttons of their pics on my bouquet, and our cake toppers… but yea we’re a little crazy 🙂

Irishker thanks for bring this post back up.

We’re having a pink wedding to honor the women in our families that have survived breast cancer. Our favors are picture frames of which a percentage of our purchase was donated to a breast cancer organization. For every gift bought online from our BB&B registry a % goes to the Komen foundation…and I’m hoping to make a photo book as our guest book with a dedication pg with pictures of our family members and of the Komen races I’ve done. These women in our lives showed us how precious life is and how we need to celebrate it with the ones we love.

We have a kind of vintage/retro theme along with circles. My ring is vintage reporduction, and my dress is tea length lace and swiss dot. I will have at leat one vintage brooch in my bouquet and brooches will be incorporared into Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets and cenrterpieces. The bridesmaids are wearing polka dot dresses, and I am gettign parasols for photos. We are also having people blow bubbles to send us off. <br />The colors are black, white, ivory with pops of red.

I also have this urge to put red bows on everything, so we will see how that pans out. LOL

zippylef:  Love to see polka dots incorporated by another bride! I would love to see how you are doing Halloween as well!
