Well, I had a “plain and simple” ring, but then I added some flash, so not sure if that counts??
Fiance proposed with a “plain & simple” ring, which I ws in loveee with:
bad pic of the side, sorry
I LOVED my ring, but I had always dreamed about pave settings (FI knew what I wanted, but couldn’t afford initially as he was paying his way through college, so he had my setting custom made so that the jeweler could add in the pave diamonds after the fact).
Here is the final product about a year and a half after the proposal:

That really is very sweet that your Fiance had a ring custom made for diamonds to be added on the band later on…very thoughtful 🙂 Beautiful ring, by the way (before and after)!

I do! It’s exactly what I wanted, although I might look at a wedding band that’s a little more blingy. I have fallen in love with pave bands.

Aw, thank you! I was really surprised because I literally wasn’t planning on changing the ring one bit! When he told me about his plan to add the pave on the sides, I was actually kind of torn about it – I really liked my ring the way it was and I was worried that I might not like it as much if we changed it. I went back and forth about it, but we obviously decided to add the pave and I’m glad that he had planned so well because I think it turned out beautiful and I love it even more now 🙂

Here’s mine! I love “plain” rings. I think they’re so elegant and classy.

Me too! Love the simple, classic bands…and it allows us to have ANY type of wedding band 🙂

Also please excuse my FH’s nasty, mosquito bitten thigh in the left of my pic above! Yuck! We were in SE Asia, and he got eaten alive!

Mine is pretty simple and I love it! Just a single stone with two side baguettes.

My ring is simple too. Three round cut diamonds. I love it.

I love simple designs! if I got to choose my e ring, I would have chosen a solitaire with no extra embellishment. my dress is super simple, and during the planning of the wedding, my mantra has been “keep it simple”. the first wedding magazine I bought? Real Simple, of course!
I once told a co-worker that I prefer plain donuts over any other kind, and when I was a kid I always chose vanilla ice cream. I asked her if that meant I’m boring. she said “no, you’re a purist!”
