As of now I don’t have a ring, but I had to say this…we were looking at some today and the saleslady showed us her “plain ol’ ring” from the 1800s that her grandpa bought for $500 and it’s now worth like $5000.

They are CLASSIC and AMAZING!! 🙂

@MsYellowJacket: I’ve saved the picture of your ring as an inspiration pic, it’s freaking gorgeous.

I’m sorry if the picture is too big, I suck at resizing.  I think mine is pretty basic &  plain and I love it! (please ignore my wrinkly man hands!!)

I love a solitare, such a classic look.  I might go with a small pave band for a wedding ring but I’m undecided.

Mine is also “just plain”.  About as simple a solitaire as you can get.  Its an asscher with a rose gold, flat edged, satin band.  LOVE solitaires!  You can always add more bling with eternity bands…

@soon2bhis: thank you very much!  I just got it a week ago and I can’t stop glancing at my hand!

Not engaged yet, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting a plain solitaire. I was really obsessed with halo settings for a while, but I think I’d rather have the extra cost go towards a better stone, and maybe upgrade someday…maybe not though. I definitely will be glittering it up with a diamond wedding band, or at the very least making it more interesting with a unique wedding band.

I <3 my ring. It’s small and dainty – perfect for my size 5 finger.

That is mine. Sorry, its the only picture of it I could find right this second. Isn’t the best picture but it was the day I got it. Its from Jareds. It isn’t very big because we didn’t have a lot of money to spend, but I love it all the same!

Here’s mine – 1.01 ct asscher cut.  I’ve been engaged 5 months and still all i do is gaze at it…..I’m a big fan of simple!

Love the rings!  Beautiful!  The simply solitaire with plain band was my dream ring, and I miss it!  I’m wearing a plain band while out here in the desert and can’t wait to get to wear my ring again.

EDIT: HOLY!  That’s a huge picture!  Sorry!
