- Wedding: Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception/The Gallery
So my good intentions of learning calligraphy before the wedding invitations need to go out started well enough… but the nibs, holder, and practice paper have been on my desk, mocking me for many months now….I just don’t think it’s going to happen. And while I’d love to hire a calligrapher…$$$. Which leads me to this question:
Have any of you printed a nice font on your envelopes with success? I’ve seen pictures and blog posts that make it look quite nice–some even have printed it lightly and gone over it with a pen–genius!
For those of you who have had success, which printer did you use? I don’t want to spend a fortune on a printer (though having one could be handy so I don’t mind spending a little bit) but want it to feed the A-7 envelopes (and maybe even the A1 response envelopes?!) nicely without lots of track marks or jamming.
Any recommendations? Thanks!
