@Gemstone:  They’re totally one of mine too! The last 2 times I saw them, they left the stage and set up mics in the audience-and both times they happened to be right in front of me! They did “Us Against the World” and “Fix you” right in front of us on New Year’s Eve this year…..I cried with an ugly crying face, obviously!

ETA-notice my avatar? 😉

@WhatMaeBee:  Sounds amazing! They did something similar last time I saw them. Unfortunately their Mylo Xyloto tour didn’t come anywhere near me.

“Yellow” has always been my song with my husband. 🙂

And yes…love the avatar!

I went to Ozzfest in 2006 and got to see a TON of awesome bands like (in bold I actually saw): Ozzy Osbourne, System of a Down, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Dragonforce, Black Label Society, Atreyu, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Norma Jean, A Life Once Lost, The Red Chord, Walls of Jericho, All that Remains, Between the Buried and Me

I’ve also seen 30 Seconds to Mars, Finger Eleven and some others I’m sure I don’t remember. Oh, I saw Kill Whitney Dead and some other lesser-known metal bands.

@jadlnc:  The town I live in (About 25,000 people) has a concert series every summer and lately the bands have been getting better and better. They started out with older bands like the ones I listed, and are getting more modern like Hunter Hayes, Kellie Pickler, Skillet, and Daughtry. But I enjoy the older bands just as much as the modern ones.
