(Closed) Who here got married at the courthouse? Did you wear a wedding dress?

My scenario is a bit different – we did the courthouse wedding just days before the “real” wedding so that my Father-In-Law could officiate unofficially (so special, incidentally).  We decided to consider it paperwork and didn’t make it special at all – normal clothes (we’d just finished a 3-hour drive), no ring exchange, no celebration after.  

At most, I’d say wear a pretty white sundress, maybe with a nice pattern or something.  A little special so you can take good pics if you want, but nothing overboard. 

Oh, and be careful, the Bees get out their stingers when anyone dares have ‘2’ weddings!

gardener09 :  I suggest a simple – though not boring – dress with a subtle hair accessory, such as “pearl” hairpins. This dress is from Macy’s, and would work nicely with any of the shoes below, also from Macy’s:
