We have a queen bed and since we moved it against a wall it has been pretty civil when sharing but when he has his way, Darling Husband looooves what we lovingly refer to as “the crack” – the spot inbetween the pillows at the center of the bed.

I am more often than not pressed RIGHT up against the wall and he is in said crack.

I don’t move a lot so it doesn’t bother me too much but he does get all the room to stretch, get up to go to the bathroom, let his feet hang off, etc, etc.

We both looooooooove when we go on vacation and have a King bed.

Can’t wait to get a new one once we move!

We both have our hogging moments. Some nights it’s me and some nights it’s him. I tend to hog the duvet!

I do! All 4’10” and 90lbs of me! Oh and my 6 lb dog takes the second most amount of space. My poor Darling Husband 😛

DH!!! I like to start out sleeping curled up on my side, so its like DH’s lets feel the empty space at the bottom of the bed and through the night he starts laying diagonal!! And then the dog sometimes gets in on it to so I have this little triangle space thats then cut off the end by a dog :/ sometimes the dog goes to the other side of Darling Husband, but yeah Darling Husband and I need a king size bed… Then he can lay diagonally and I will still have room!!

@Daizy914:  I would say me, BUT it’s by default because as soon as Darling Husband is in the bed he creates a dip which I roll into.  So I wind up right next to him and it looks like I’m trying to hog the bed, but if I move to the edge I sleep on an angle.

I want a new bigger bed but this one is only a year old.

We’re both good at keeping to our side of the bed. But I am a blanket hog. I wake myself up several times a night and put the cover back over him, but it never lasts long.

I chose the dog, because he is. My boyfriend claims that I am but a lot of times I can’t even lay on my back without my arms hanging off the bed. Honestly we probably take turns.

@Daizy914:  FH hogs the bed. We have one of those large California King beds and he STILL manages to wiggle to the middle and sleep like a starfish – arms out, legs out, and he sleeps on his back. He talks in his sleep a lot too! I tend to sleep on my side in the fetal position so I fit quite nicely in the space between his outstretched arm and leg, alongside his body, but in the morning when I wake up and stretch my arms out, I often smack him in the face because he’s RIGHT THERE. Ugh.

@Daizy914:  Not only does my husband hog the bed but he’s like one massive ball of heat so I always wake up sweating in a tiny ball about to fall off the bed! PS. My lovely husband also just so happens to STEAL THE COVERS! We sleep with two comforters now — mine and his.

    One of the three dogs.

And it’s not the 45 pound Setter or the 60 pound Golden Retriever.

It’s the 18 pound, one-eared Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

    Beast.

It just depends! If we go to bed together then my SO definitely hogs the bed. I have a small dog that now sleeps in a dog bed, but before SO and I moved in together he slept in the bed with me. He always slept close to me, but I was aware of where he was even when I was sleeping and never rolled on him. Apparently my SO isn’t aware of anything when he is sleeping, and he will just randomly roll over on top of me in the middle of the night and push me off the bed.

If I go to bed first then I am definitely a bed hog. For example, last night SO had to work until 2 AM. He came strolling in around 3, and I was asleep in the middle of the bed and apparently he had a hard time moving me.
