We try to take turns but he usually ends up doing most of the cooking. We usually grill out…a lot…so he’s always in charge of that and I’ll do sides. But he’s good at anything…meatloaf, tacos, enchiladas, pastas, twice baked potatoes. One day I walked in and had made a zuchinni and sausage casserole and it was super delish. He just winged it on that one. Oh, and he can make some killer SOS. The only crappy part is that I usually have to clean up after him. Oh well…I guess it’s a compromise.

He is soooo much better at all the breakfast things and grilling!! So I let him do that and I do most dinners that requires using the oven. But we both enjoy cooking so we usually help eachother out!

i do most of the cooking during the week (well, i try to that is!) ,he’ll do the grilling, if any, or we’ll just each make what we want…on the weekends we usually go out or order in

I do a lot of the cooking just because I’m home earlier, but when he’s here he likes to do it. He worked as an assistant in a kitchen a long time ago and he likes to keep those skills sharp (ergh, pun!). I cook 8 times out of 10, probably, and I end up cleaning too, but he helps out when he can. It’s also nice that he’s pretty good at it!

We share the cooking. It depends on the night and/or what we want to eat. He is probably a better (more patient) cook than I am!

I do the lion’s share of the cooking, but he does the lion’s share of the dishes. And he offers to help, but I have a hard time delegating in the kitchen and feel like "help" is more like being in the way. I’m trying to get better about that.

I do all the cooking and baking, but he cleans up after me. I’m a messy cook. I get 12 different items dirty for stew.

My Fiance makes the best food, hands down. It attracted me to him even when we were just friends! He’s a macgyver type that can whip up anything from anything. I burn toast and spill things EVERYWHERE. He insists on "helping" when I attempt to cook but I think we both know he’s mentally going over where the fire extinguisher is. 🙂

We both enjoy cooking and have fun preparing meals together. Usually whoever gets home first will make dinner.

I hate cooking and he does it most of the time. Our rule is that he cooks and I clean up. 🙂 Works for me.
