Are you allowed to decorate both places the morning of the wedding? What time does the ceremony start?

We had a 2:30 garden ceremony and access to the reception room starting at 330 (cocktail hour began at 530).  I think if you did the ceremony at 330 and opened cocktail hour at 6 that should be enough time if you don’t have that much to set up yourself. We just had to put on table runners, chair covers and centrepieces. The venue took care of setting up tables, basic white tablecloths and all the place settings and we finished with time to spare. I sent a couple aunts and three of my cousins to set up. I think my mom probably helped but she wasn’t in the plan since we wanted to be sure she was available for photos and stuff.

This sucks!  Is it possible just to hire someone to decorate while the cermony is taking place? This isn’t ideal, but it’s better than guests missing the ceremony to decorate!
