I really want to do it. I’ve been saving up a little at a time, though, since it’s really expensive. I’m aiming to go to one of the marathon days, because that cuts is down but about $500-$600, but whenever they have them I seem to have just been handed a vet bill or some other unexpected bill!

I’m not telling R beforehand, but I know he’ll like it. I am definitely using a female photographer, just for my own comfort level.

Even with a female photography he was uncomfortable? Maybe you could DIY it if he’s really not into the idea of ANYONE seeing you. Or, maybe you could have him be your photographer?Wink I wouldn’t want you to spend lots of money just to find out your guy was NOT happy about it.

I want to do a Boudoir Shoot for my bf’s birthday, but I have a feeling NYC boudoir shoots are MEGA BUCKS. I wonder…what’s the average price for boudoir? Do you usually get at least 2 outfit changes?

I really want to do one!!  Though this probably sounds stupid … I didn’t even know about these until being on WB.  Embarassed  I know Fiance would love it and I think it would make for a really neat gift!  I’m not sure how to go about finding a photographer for this … but I still have some time for that.

@galactic – if they’re anything like Chicago, most of them are about $500 for just the two hours of shooting and editing, plus you pay the hotel room and for prints or a booklet. Definitely contact photographers, though, because two of my faves here in Chicago do marathons, where you get an hour timeslot at a hotel, a makeup artist, a few drinks, and a $50 credit towards prints for $575 or so.

I did one, but have yet to give the book to Fiance.  I did participate in a marathon, but actually wish I would have done it alone.  I saw another girl in her lingerie, and a different girl saw me in mine (just walking past rooms and catching peeks).  Also, it felt kind of rushed.  I had my hair and makeup onsite (benefit of the marathon) and it looked great.  I wore bras and panty sets and I was totally comfortable in front of my photographer (female).   She told me how to pose, what to do with my face, etc.  It was a lot of fun!  You should just do it bc I say this is the best I’m probably going to look!

I paid $450 for hair, makeup and 1.5 hr photo session.  I had 4 clothing changes.

I just did one and it was so much fun, i already want to do it again.  I went to blackbird portraits in st. paul.  It was only $200 for a two hour session, and that included a CD with about 30-40 retouched pics.  There are a few shots of me on his blog, under a fake name of course.

I’m going to. Haven’t asked Fiance his opinion – he’s not at all the jealous type and I can’t imagine he would mind. I really hope they’ll turn out good though – I’m doing them in the middle of march, and there’s no better motivation in the world to make you work out!
