@sonyazach87  We had 2 hours to decorate the day of. It was me and my husband’s uncle. The caterers did everything with the tables so it was actually just a matter of installing the uplighting and lighting the candles on the centerpieces. We didn’t have flowers.

Thankfully the staff at the hotel will be doing our decor!

We are having our reception at my FIL’s house so we are able to set up the night before. My mom, Future Mother-In-Law and I will be doing the decorating. Well mostly me and my mom, my Future Mother-In-Law tents to get frazzled easy. It is just easier to do it myself. haha

My planner will be decorating our space. Thank goodness because I’m terrible with these things. However, we are bringing in all of the food, so my family and friends will be setting all of that up. We won’t be able to do anything until the day of.

@sonyazach87  Me and my mom might as well share a brain. We have the same taste in almost everything and we both find it easier to do everything ourselves. It makes it easy for us to work together. My Future Mother-In-Law already has me about to lose my marbles. Shes a sweetheart but I can’t seem to get it through that we want this to be small and simple. I’m not trying to break the bank on a wedding. Unless you are going really elaborate it shouldn’t take you more than 2 hours to do everything.

Team effort between the rental company, caterer, and coordinator team. Id avoid DIYing or making your family DIY it if possible, so everyone can enjoy the day instead of working!

we had the caterer set up because it was the only option (we rented a museum which was open to the public until 4pm the day of our wedding and the reception started at 6pm). as a total control freak this kind of bothered me but in the end it worked out perfectly – I got to relax and focus on the important part of the day!

@sonyazach87  I was hoping to get in the night before, but they said they had an event and couldn’t allow it. So, it was done the morning of.

I had a hair appointment at 9, so I (along with my bridal party) couldn’t go over and help. So, my mom, an aunt, and my Grandma were the main ones. Also, DH went over there to drop our name cards off for the food, so he helped some as well. Oh, and my now-FIL also helped by putting the Hershey kisses on the mirror tiles. He was pretty proud of his work.

My mom knew the vision I had, so it was pretty easy and very minimal. We used the tall vases on the mirrored iltes that they provided and just wrapped a bling fabric around the bottom. Then, had the Hrshey kisses around that for some color.

I did help decorate the table where our guestbook was put out, as we had a LOT of time between the ceremony and when people started arriving for the reception.

We don’t know yet, haha.

If there are no events booked the night before our wedding and the day after, then we are able to set up the night before and break down the next day. As far as decor is concerned, our venue is taking care of the centerpieces, signage, etc. Myself, my fiance and our bridal party are all chipping in to set up all of our technology pieces – uplights, textured lighting, monogram, photobooth and TV screens.

Hopefully there are no Friday night or Sunday events booked between now and our wedding. We wouldn’t have a problem setting up first thing in the morning before the wedding, but I think having to break everything down right after our wedding would be miserable.

Me, my mom (MOH), my Bridesmaid or Best Man, and my grandma decorated! Honestly we had so much fun! We got there super early and spent the whole day decorating and laughing! I wouldn’t have it any other way!

@sonyazach87  my venue and there staff will take care of it. I made sure to find a venue that was all inclusive because i don’t have the patience to decorate an entire venue.
