I didn’t want to at first. . . I saw myself wearing a pretty flower accessory in my hair. However, when I tried a veil on, I felt like a bride. I decided on a veil for the ceremony and pictures. I also didn’t want to pay $200 for the veil I liked in the store I went to. Instead I found one online for $20 that will serve the exact same purpose.

I think if I were planning on having the long hair I used to, then I would wear a veil. I have a pixie cut now which I plan on keeping, and while I was thinking of wearing a veil initially, the lace wrap I have for covering my shoulders is very busy and I think a veil would be too much stuff hanging off me.

Definitely do it if you want to. Your Fiance might feel differently when he sees one on you.

It really made me feel like a bride. Also it’s just for ceremony and first half of pictures…then you take it out for party time (I had a blinged out hair comb under my veil that was revealed when it was taken off), which makes it feel like a different look (almost like a reception dress without having to buy another dress, take off your awesome bridal gown, or do much work at all!)

I’m still up in the air about it – I didn’t want to, but the shop where I bought my dress threw in the veil for free, so I’ve got one! I doubt I’ll wear it though – I don’t like the look of them, and I don’t particularly want to look like a “bride”.

I did not feel like a bride until I had a veil on! I will definitely be wearing one.

I wasn’t going to, but I’m getting one for free, and everyone thinks it’s really pretty.

I’ll probably just wear it for the ceremony, not the reception.

I remember being like 8 playing around with my moms veil. I know that i’ve been dreaming of wearing a veil since I was a kid…can’t wait!

I basically insisted my entire life I wouldn’t wear one. The dress I picked is more evening gown than wedding gown so I am wearing one to look more like a bride.

My veil is the thing about my outfit which I love the most! Still trying to find out if Fiance likes drop veils or blushers, though… his opinion will sway how I wear it…

No, I want to wear a colorful flower crown like this instead (except a little smaller)

I wore an elbow length beaded edge veil. I love how it sparkled!

I am borrowing my soon-to-be sister-in-law’s veil. I am really excited about it! I bought a cheap one off of ebay but hers was just a bit longer and I like it better. It is special that it is borrowed from his side.
