@greenidlady:  You look fantastic!  When I first saw the pic I thought you were in your early-mid twenties 🙂  What sort of high intensity cardio do you do?

@Leland:  Thank you Leland, I have my hat on, so you can’t see my wrinkles.;-)

The class I take combines muscle sculpting with cardio, like fast walking lunges, using light weights but high reps at a fast pace.

I typically alternate my cardio between the elliptical machine, walking uphill on the treadmill, the arc trainer, stairclimber and every once in a while, running. I try not to do the same cardio for more than a couple days in a row.

@Cady:  Have you tried Mederma? I started using it a few months ago for my old acne scars and it works well. It’s not cheap but it’s worth the improvement I’ve seen from it so far.

@WillyNilly:  I like that Scarlett has a bit of a belly. At my “happy weight”, I’m about that size, with a little less belly and slightly wider hips & at my happy weight, I’m pretty satisfied with my body. Not far to go now!

I am not happy with my body. I’ve been underweight my whole life and have spent years trying to gain weight. I eat really well & have tried everything my doctor told me.. and in the end he told me that some people are just thin & I should be happy with it. The last few years I’ve gained more muscle in my arms specifically, which I think makes me look a lot better. I was able to gain five pounds in the last year which I was so happy about (pretty sure all muscle). The funny thing is, I actually gained a little weight once I stopped trying to gain it! Maybe that’s the key? I don’t work out at all.. my exercise is just my daily work. I don’t think being so tiny would bother me so much if everyone didn’t always say things to me about it. I don’t think people mean to make me feel bad.. but if I don’t want a cookie because I’m full, everyone will say oh for your diet to stay so thin? Gets me so angry! For perspective, I weigh about 90lbs, 5’2″.

@admccomb:  Thank you! My Fiance has never seen me skinny. It sucks that I didn’t make it even close t my goal for our wedding, as I was super skinny for my first wedding. He says he loves me the way  iam, but still..I want to feel good about myself and  Idont.

You know, I have a big body, and I’m hugely happy about it. I’m over all this “exercise for your wedding, ladies!” stuff, yaknow? Idk. Maybe it’s just me. I was a fat girlfriend, I’m a fat fiance, and I’m going to be a fat bride– I’m happy and beautiful. SO ARE ALL OF YOU!!

@Romantigua:  you’ll lose it again! my friend was stuck around that weight a long time after having her baby but wound up losing it pretty much all towards the end of the one year mark.  20 lbs is a lot to lose.  i still want to lose 5 and i think just staying the course is key. my goal right now is small: stop eating after dinner.  baby steps.
