My husband and I just had our blood test done and checked, and he came up healthier than me even though I am the one who feeds him. I am so happy for him, but we are always competing as to who will turn out healthier during such exams. one thing that made me happy is that I have almost as much muscle as him…weird. Go me!
Please feel free to share.

Oh him, by a long shot. I am not in a good place right now with my health, but he is healthier than he’s ever been. It’s hard to be on such opposite ends of the spectrum.

My SO is healthier than me, even though I work out and he doesn’t. He handles stress in a much better manner and doesn’t sweat over things, so naturally his good numbers reflect that.
Me, I’m super high-strung and have elevated blood pressure and a resting heart rate that’s too high, haha. I’ve started to cut out sugar to see if that will help me at all.

Myabe you can add “equal” or “we both are” to the poll…because Fiance and are both pretty healthy and work out everyday!

I should say that we are also about the same, but he is a bit healthier. My numbers fall in the normal range, but his are better.

Ooh, this is hard for me because if you just count working out regularly and eating good food (minimal junk food and soda) as being being healthy, then I definitely am healthier. However, SO has a lower body fat percentage and can run longer and faster (the 2-3 times a month he actually does). But he has a horrible diet (fast food and Mountain Dew) and rarely works out, he just has a higher metabolism and ran track in high school.

That’s a tough one- I think I eat healthier- the man makes pasta at 10pm. I should note that we’re both vegan and eat pretty clean, he just eats 3 times as much as I do.
I exercise more but mostly because I have to… FH is a long lean machine! He’s just built like an athelete! He has a six pack most of the time… Jerk! I have to exercise more than him just to keep up, although my cardio stamina is better.
In terms of internal health- I think we’re equal, our diet, exercise, stress management techniques (we share the same), and beliefs in healing helps us keep that in check…

Hard to say. I’m pretty sure his body fat percentage is much lower than mine, even though I workout several times a week. He snowboards a few times a week or so. But when it comes to eating.. I would say I’m healthier there for the most part. Water is all I usually drink, he drinks a lot more soda than I do. Plus I am more open-minded with trying healthy food/recipes, whereas he is a lot more picky.

Darling Husband is. I have a bit healthier of a lifestyle, but I have chronic conditions that while I do what I can to control, they will always flare up from time to time. There are also side effects to the medication that I need to take.
There’s so much of your health that you just can’t control.

He could eat pizza and chocolate every day. Throw in an Indian curry every once in a while too. He also drinks a ton of Coke every day, though he has gotten better!

This was a tough one for me to answer. I chose my SO, even though I can out swim, bike and run him. My SO is 10 years my senoir and has nothing but slightly high cholesterol, and is about 5 pounds overweight according to his doctor his frame tells me his doctor is full of crap however. Me on the other hand I’ve got very low body fat and bmi with good muscle mass, but I’ve also have autoimmune conditions and I’m on a lot of meds. So though physically I’m in better shape the truth of the matter is his health is better.

My husband is definitely a lot more physical than I am. He is in the Navy and has to be. I’m trying to keep up with him, though.

I think he tries to eat healthier than me and definitely works out more than I do, but I think I’m more in shape than he is when you look at the numbers.

My H is in great physical shape – like he climbs the Grand Teton in 20 hours, or he’ll ski 10,000 verticle feet in the backcountry in a day then do it again 2 more days after that. I think after I came along I’ve improved his diet. Not sure how he kept going on bagels and ramen!
Being that I cannot have cheese or milk, and I tend to eat Paleo, maybe my nutrition is better (less cholesterol sources).
All the working out and training in the world probably won’t get me even close to his level.
