@GroovyHippieChick:  This totally.  We have our issues, and stuff we need to work on (like all couples) but at the end of the day we’re perfect for each other and will always be there for the other. πŸ™‚

We are perfectly suited, but not in the storybook romance kind of way; more in the balance each other out kind of way.  We are awesome as individual humans but amazing as a couple.  We just recently got some very bad news and will be going through a difficult and challenging time together for some time to come, but we’ll be doing it together.  Also, I just simply love him.  That’s pretty much all I need I guess.

I think it’s good because we’re a lot alike.  We recognize that in each other and really value it.  There’s a lot of things I do not worry about because I know him like I know myself and it’s a wonderful feeling.

So true!  We also joke that no one else would put up with some of our quirks.

Lots of respect and acceptance going on over here… nice to know you have someone to always count on.

@GroovyHippieChick:  We actually had a version of that in our vows: “You may not be perfect, but you’re perfect for me.”

@bearbear1:  I always tell my fi, “Even when I’m mad at you, I still love you.” I think that really shows that even we we do fight and don’t agree, he’s still the only one for me πŸ™‚

@Blanche:  Sorry to hear that, but it sounds as if you two will have each other to lean on. πŸ™‚

We make each other incredibly happy. We both have that ability to laugh at our mistakes. I just adore him!!

We’re relaxed and happy with another. He’s my best friend and the person I want to cuddle up with every night.

What makes it so good?!  The fact I can be myself, and he him, and even though we can annoy the hell out of one another, still think the sun shines out of the other person’s butt!  When I am weak, he is strong, and vica versa.  We laugh, all the time…we share our lives with those around us…and our chemistry is still as strong as it was the first day we met πŸ™‚

We often say that TODAY we are the happiest we have ever been with another person, because we know that living in the present is so important.  Which is why we always look forward to tomorrow together!!

I have always told my SO from the start that I wasn’t looking for someone who was perfect….but rather someone with the perfect amount of imperfections! He sometimes would be super hard on himself in the beginning about how he wasn’t perfect and whatnot, but I love him for who he is — not for what other people make him feel like he needs to be! We laugh at each other’s mistakes, are goofy, and talk about things when they arise rather than waiting and boiling over. I love him for who he is and I couldn’t imagine my life without him…..he’ll be a great husband, and eventually — a great father too!
