@Quietserenity: lol!  If you were in VA, I’d say “come on over!!!!”

my Fiance has actually been looking into culinary schools (he’s been watching Chopped and has been experimenting with food. OMG, the results are AMAZING!!!!).

I’m more the “pastry” chef of the family.  Cakes, cookies, etc. Give me a recipe and I can make it AMAZING, lol.  I’ve even found a recipe for fondant that I wanna try!!!!!  (me+cakes+fondan=messy but awesome ideas!)

and, yeah, sounds like he DEFINITELY needs a new hobby!  I’d suggest fishing, but you would probably never see him on the weekends again 😉  (my brother fishes, lol). SO JEALOUS of your quilt!!!!!  I do SOME sewing and have wanted to learn quilting, but to no avail, lol.  Haven’t really had the ability yet to REALLY try it.  Or the fabric.

@Quietserenity:LOVE the quilt and cute photo!!!

My grandfather (who we more or less adopted, rather than the other way around) has/had (he passed away last year and she’s still living) a sister who used to quilt ALL the time.  She’d give me her “scraps” for me to play with!!! (not sure WHERE the scrap are, though….).  I ALWAYS wanted to learn ’cause she used to make these GORGEOUS quilts and sell them.

I’ve made several costumes and up until my daughter was born, I’d make my son’s halloween costumes!  I JUST finished my ring pillow, too! (THAT was a labor of love and hell, lol).  Oh, and I made this cute little “peryton” made from a reindeer head and little bird body.  It looks more like a weird little chick than anything, lol.

Maybe I can get into quilting sometime soon, but we really don’t have a lot of room in the apartment, soooooo it makes it difficult to do lots of crafts. 🙁

@Quietserenity: Whenever I get the chance to start trying for a quilt, I’ll get the book!!!!  That’s so awesome you’re making the quilt out of the napkins!!!

And, yeah, if this month is a bust, no more trying until March/April of next year due to the wedding.  I wanna fit into my gown, lol!

I’ve had so many months where I’ve had so many typical pregnancy signs and then a BFN, I’ve quit listening to my body.  It’s hellbent on tricking me!!!

Nah, you’re not a nut job 😉  Those are who are in the “care” of the hospital my Fiance works at! LOL!  ok, so it’s more an “institution” and reminds me of the old old asylums from the creepy old movies, but that’s beside the point! LOL!

It’s a GREAT way to pass the time!!!!  If I’m not sewing something together, I’m doing some other crafty thing!  My current love is making these dragon eggs from balloons and paper mache!  (and I posted a pic of my ring pillow, too!)
