@kb7:  It’s my understanding that the rehearsal dinner is for the bridal party and their dates, family, and out of town guests. Unfortunately, that means our rehearsal dinner is a miniature version of our wedding because there will be 65-70 people there. But yes, you should invite the guests of the BP.

Yes, of course your siblings should all be there, and it’s common courtesy to extend members of your bridal party a +1 for the rehearsal dinner.

i suppose it is up to you on who you invite.

but if people are in relationships, they should be invited with them.

Whose siblings? Yours or BP’s?  Yours…yes…BP’s no.  BP’s SO’s dont have to be invited but it would be nice.  If they have to travel to be in the wedding and their SO is there then yes.

We’re inviting BP (and respective SO’s or plus 1’s), other attendants (guestbook attendant and personal attendant – along with their families, as they’re under 18), host and hostess couples, and out of state guests.

If you were going to eliminate anyone, I’d suggest out of town guests. We invited WP, +1’s, parents, siblings, siblings’ +1’s and kids, grandparents, and parents siblings and kids (our closest aunts, uncles, and cousins), and had about 50 people.

At a minimum you have to include your immediate families (parents and siblings), bridal party, parents of any child attendants, plus SOs of any of the above.

It’s nice to include OOT guests if you have the budget and space, but not required.
