Im not doing one either. In fact I think its odd. Never even heard of it until I came on weddingbee. None of the weddings Ive been to did this.
I want my Fiance and I to see each other for the first time when I walk down the aisle. I want to see his face light up. Its going to be such an amazing moment. 🙂

We won’t be doing a first look either. We would like to do a “non-first-look” encounter, though (similar to what Cornflakegirl

I really wanted one but Fiance want to see me first when I see him at the alter and I thought it was so sweet I said yes. We are planning on doing a prayer together around a corner between the front door and the gardens before the ceremony (no peeking though!)

Thank you! It was super sweet. Our cinematographers never had a couple do a First Touch so they enjoyed filming it. Also, they caught my husband saying “Wow” and smiling as I walked down the aisle. We’re really happy we planned it all as we did and that those moments were captured.

Definitely not. I read so many reasons behind why people do the first looks but to be quite honest, I still don’t get it. There is something extremely special about seeing each other for the first time when I come down the aisle. My Fiance and I both agree that we would never want a first look.

Im not! I cannot wait to see fi’s face. Now we have 2 photographers and we can get a pic if both of our faces:)

We are going to do this. We are the first of our families to do this! That’s kind of scary. But we are doing it for time sake. I want the best of both worlds. I want tradition and save time. But we can’t have it all. So we both made the choice to go ahead with it.

Fiance and I both agreed he isn’t going to see me or my dress until the moment I walk down the aisle. My photographer is pretty stoked and is excited to capture that moment for us. =)

Also no first look for us!
I really want pictures of our faces when we see each other for the first time at the altar. Priceless hahaha!

Not me! I’ve only been engaged a few weeks and have already decided on this. I’ve actually always looked forward to seeing his face down the aisle 🙂 In fact, whoever is my photog will be instructed that this is THE MOMENT that must be captured!

No first looke here! It was great, I loved seeing his face and then later when we got the pictures back I saw that my face was pretty priceless as well!
As a photographer I encourage a first look not only for logistical reasons but also for calming reasons, sometimes it really helps the couple to have a few quite moments with eachother before the ceremony, especially if either of them are nervous.

We didn’t. I didn’t want one, and DH wouldn’t have done it if I had wanted one. Walking down the aisle was an amazing moment, and seeing him tear up made it even better. We had a very intimate moment after the wedding where we were alone and hugged and kissed and whatnot. It was very emotional, and our photographer was there, so we still have intimate pictures.
