It’s black friday and I’m not going out.
I’ve had my fair share of working on black friday in the past few years, so I know to avoid all of that craziness.
I know how crazy it can get cuz I’ve worked at chick-fil-a, regal cinemas, target, american eagle.
This was the first year that I’m not doing anything tomorrow. (Last year, black friday was the day before my wedding so I was definitely not going out shopping… haha I was getting some last minute things done and then relaxing.)
But want to know what sucks, I kind of want to go to Michaels to pick up a few things. It has nothing to do with any of the sales going on. I don’t really need anything they are offering. So I must figure out what to do tomorrow. Besides eat leftovers all day. haha
Anyone else not going out today?

ME ME ME!!! I would rather apy FULL PRICE then wait in line for hours and hours in the freezing cold 🙂

I have to work…. closing though so it won’t be AS crazy.

I’m not. The last time I shopped Black Friday, I figured out (while waiting in a two hour checkout line after several hours of waiting outside for doors to open) that if I took into account the hours of waiting and how much my time is “worth,” I was losing money by trying to shop the sales. I did catch a few Black Friday deals online this morning, though, since I can’t sleep.

nope I’m at work today! 🙁 But I shop online or on QVC!! So much easier and don’t have to worry about being in the busy stores. Last year I got up really early and went shopping this year, not spending much to not worried about it.

I’ve done my share in year’s past. but not this year. Too messy outside and I prefer to do it all online.

I am obviously not going. I am still in Toronto. Though a LOT of Torontonians are ‘sick’ today. (All good for me, cuz the drive in to work was a breeze!)

I’m not going out. I hate shopping with a billion other people. My blessed fiance wanted to go register this weekend.
My response: “Are you stupid? It’s Black Friday….”
His: “Oh… I guess it might be kind of crazy….”

oh I’m not. I wouldn’t do it for any amount of deals. I will be at home working on some papers.

I think unless you were aiming to get a big ticket item it’s just not worth it.
But this year lots of websites have been doing week of and Black Friday sales. 🙂
I saw my dream LG Fridge for more than 50% off on Black Friday at Home Depot. Sigh. I wish!!

Not me! I’m far too impatient to wait in lines and crowds when I could be doing other things.
