My loving honey bear (awww I loves him) just got rid of a nasty spider that was crawling on the couch! EEEEK.
He took him outside ๐
It got me thinking who would be hiding in the corner like me at the sight of a bug and who would jump in the line of fire to get rid of that sucker.

Def the FH. I am sending him after the critters under our house tonight. I picked up the cages, he can set the traps.

I’m somewhere between your last two options. I have no bug fears and will generally leave them alone…unless I see a stink bug. Stink bugs induce an abnormal rage in me that cannot be contained, and I must crush every one I see in a massive wad of tissues to muffle their evil stench.

I didn’t really know how to vote! I make my fiance kill bugs… and yes, I CARE how he does it. If he takes it outside, it will be back inside in 5 minutes. He better kill that thing!
I remember calling him a year ago because I was scared of a roach. He drove three hours just to come and kill it for me. Phew ๐

I hide. That’s actually an understatement, I hide and FREAK out when I find large spiders/stinkbugs/etc in our house, at work… anywhere! I seriously can’t help it. If I find one at home, I put a jar over it until he comes home if he’s at work, hahaha. He kills them for me!

We have an agreement- I will take care of the spiders since they don’t bother me and he will take care of the roaches since they don’t bother him. (Luckily though, there’s a lot of lizards in our neighborhood and we literally NEVER have bugs because I think the lizards eat them all.)

@Blueshoes2: I do that with tupperware, that way I can still see that it is trapped.

We have huge spiders that sometimes get into our house (I am talking palm sized). One night, my Fiance was working and one was on my bed (it had glowing green eyes and everything…ugh). He called his Dad to come over and kill it for me. I am such a baby!

@kperry3:
ROACHES ARE THE WORST. You can like… HEAR THEM because their shells move and if you stomp on them they crunch terribly. OH GOD. They make me nervous just imagining one in my house.

This made me giggle so much! My lovely man is DEFINITELY the exterminator… he deals with every spider, bug, lizard, etc.
He also cleans up any ‘accidents’ that our furbabies have ; I’m very lucky!

If Mr DDW is around, I make him kill them. If he’s not, I smoosh them with a shoe or something so I don’t have to feel them crunch.

@ohheavenlyday: you got the much better end of the deal.
Roaches are nasty. Ewww my skin is crawling just thinking of them.
