I didn’t care if we did one, but DH really wanted to. So I say if T wants to do it, let him! Guys get more of a kick out of it I think.

Some people have the person who catches the bouqet and the man that catches the garter do a slow dance together but we wont do that, kinda awkward you think?

I put a garter on and immediately took it off…i thought it was totally uncomfortable.  I didn’t want to do a garter toss or a bouquet toss because I’ve been to a lot of weddings where the party halts and 1/2 of the guests leave the floor.  I didn’t want to interrupt the party, so I told my coordinator it would be a game time decision.  The party was in full swing she didn’t even approach me because she knew what the answer would be.  I didn’t even think of it until the next morning when I saw my garter in the bag…didn’t miss having the traditional tosses at all!

I’m wearing one but am not doing the toss. Just the idea of my poor fella with his head up my skirt and all our family and friends watching makes me cringe!!! But, for some reason I’m really looking forward to wearing one and have been scoping out awesome cute ones on etsy! LOL

I skipped this all together.

I really didn’t want to have a pseudo-intimate moment with my husband in front of hundreds of people.  i wanted our wedding to be elegant and classy and it just didn’t seem to fit into the evening.

Most of our friends are young and single, so we will probably end up doing it, even though I am not sure how I feel about it yet.

No way…I find the idea strange and uncomfortable. NOT for me, but for those (especially the elderly, my boss, etc.) who are forced to watch. If all the guests were 20 and 30 yr olds, maybe. But considering there are guests of all ages-absolutely not!

I’m not jazzed about it but Fiance says we must have one to give to a bachelor friend.  It’s kind of icky the more I think about it that one of his friends will have the garter I wore around my thigh all night.
