If I had a traditional wedding I think it would had been one of my best male friends. I don’t get along with my father, so it definately would not have been him!

@renwoman:  my dad is and he made it pretty clear he is the only one who’s walking me down. I’m his only daughter & he wants that moment to just be us. He would be hurt any other way (at least I think he would).

My dad is walking me down the aisle. I love when both parents do it though, but my dad is far too traditional for that.

Both my parents will walk me down the aisle 🙂 Fiance may have his parents escort him in to take his place  too and I love it!

    What  @TGold said. lol

Also, because I’m reading WB, watching A Christmas Carol, and following the NORAD Santa tracker, I missed the mother and father option, and selected them seperately.

My dad and my step dad will walk me down the aisle.

Im super blessed to have two dads who have taught me so much plus they respect each other and get along famously. It’s pretty incredible actually!

My stepfather will walk me down the aisle. My biological father passed away last year, but he probably wouldn’t have done it anyway – he lives overseas and I’m not convinced he would have even come to the wedding.

I’d have no problems with my mum also walking me down the aisle, but I don’t think she cares too much and it’s such an important thing to my stepfather (who has been instrumental in raising me and continues to be so generous with his support to this day).

My mom walked me down the aisle. My father wasn’t even invited to my wedding.

My dad was never much in my life and my mom chose one terrible guy after another for step father figure. growing up though my uncle lived with us on and off and was a positive role model so he walked me down the aisle. It was nice for both of us

My mom walked me down the aisle. My Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law walked my wife down the aisle.

I’m only having my dad, because there was a time when I didn’t think he’d be around to do it. If he wasn’t, I always imagined my brothers walking me because that’s what my aunts did.

A lot of my friends had their mothers walk with them and their fathers. It’s not uncommon at all.

@renwoman:  My dad will be.  I’d like my mom to as well but then part of me wants to stay traditional in this way.  I also don’t want to be smooshed in the middle with my big old gown.  But, my mom played a larger part of truly parenting than my father, so I was thinking of having the mothers be the “ring bearers” in that we actually have the officiant call them up to present the rings with their blessings…. Something to have my mom have a role in my wedding since she played the biggest role in my life….
