Katie-Didnt :  Oh yeah, it’s limited government for those who ‘act right’ but those who don’t want to live their lives according to white, wealthy, male, Christian standards get government all up in their business.

TBH I’m not worried AT ALL about Trump (even though I am a woman AND I’m bisexual). He can’t do anything serious (i.e the wall) If Hillary won, we’d be in a worse position because she would’ve likely led to Russia being hostile towards us. Putin at least likes Trump more than Obama and Hillary. The people elected him fair and square and I think that people should be grown up about it.

mayoradamwest :  can’t do anything serious? He’s already blocked a Scheduled cut to mortgage insurance rates which would have saved the average family about $500/year. If your mortgage requires PMI, that’s gonna cost you thousands of dollars until you get your mortgage paid down far enough to not need it. That’s pretty serious, if you ask me.

oh and dissent is the purest form of democracy. Our country was founded on protest. Peaceful protest IS being grown up about it. there’s gonna be a lot of it in the next few years.

I live in Canada and am terrified about what this could do to our country, I can’t even begin to know how Americans feel right now. How can anyone support this man? How in the hell did he make it all the way to president?! I just don’t get  how anyone could think this is a good idea. The man is the biggest idiot, he can’t answer a question directly to save his life, his comments about women are horrifying…I just can’t even.

_blackbird_ :  Honestly that’s how a lot of us feel.  Yes, he won and yes, people voted for him, but I think many are realizing now more than ever that he is in waaaayyy over his head.  It would be like if I as an educator decided one day that I was going to be a doctor.  I’ve never treated anyone, never been in surgery, and never studied the practice.  It would be like if the first day I went in and performed open heart surgery without being qualified.  He wants to shake things up and that is just what he will do, but at the risk of what?  His speeches are so vague.  His inaugural speech was 16 minutes of nothing but blabbing about a united country of patriots and how he will give the power to “you, the people” and how America will be GREAT again.  *eye roll*

I’ve never, ever felt so strongly against a candidate in an election, and I still feel the same hatred toward him that I did when he was running.  Plus he chose the song “My Way” as their first dance song.  Fitting, no?  *eye roll*
