I wont since mine is a set and both the bands are very thin, however, I TOTALLY would and switch the e-ring to the right, if I had a set like yours. Or if my e-ring and band were and thick I would do it too.
At this moment I only have a band. We are doing things a teensy bit “backwards”. We got married with just a band, will have a reception a year+ later, and will do engagement ring then. 🙂
I have a sweet, basic rose gold band and adore it. I also love to see women wearing just their wedding ring. There’s something lovely, classic, sweet and simple about it that just says “love”. No offense means to e-ring wearers, I’m holding out for mine. 😉
I will! But I have to wait =(
Aw, here’s what I plan to wear…
I will wear the braided band most days and the plain rose gold band for vacations or times when I just feel like it. Lol.
I don’t have my wedding band yet but I am seriously considering switching my e-ring to my right hand and getting a u-prong eternity ring to wear alone on my left. My e-ring’s basket sits low on my finger so I would have to get a custom “notched” band to fit around it. I’m not a huge fan of that idea hence why I would separate them.
This is my dream wedding ring!
And here is a picture of my e-ring
when i get engaged (my man already had the ring custom made… now he just needs to propose when the time is right!) i will be separating my rings. because the wedding ring i want is too large to wear with any other ring next to it. so my wedding band will go on my left hand, engagement ring on the right.
I will likely mosty wear my ering and wedding band together, however on lazy days or really busy days I will wear my band by itself!
I am just wearing my wedding band on my left hand, and my engagement ring on my right. My wedding band is too big to wear with the engagement ring.
I wear my wedding band alone st times. When we travel or if I don’t feel like being so “flashy” with my e-ring stacked on too.
@multinational: We are doing the same thing! I am getting married with just a band in October. Then, maybe on our 5-year anniversry I will do an engagement ring. I too love the idea of just wearing a band. Plus, we also plan to do some traveling in other countries and I’d be soooo worried about the e-ring
I wear only my wedding band (plain platinum band) most days. When we go out or I want to dress up, I’ll add the engagement ring (round solitaire with matching plain platinum band) on my left hand to compliment the wedding band (they look stunning together!). While I do it for practical purposes, it makes me fall in love with the ring all over again and feel super flashy and special when I wear it–which is about twice a week.
