I can’t WAIT until I’m married so I can have that option!!  I will likely mix it up, but here’s my wedding band(s) stacked with another ring, this is likely what I will wear when I don’t want to wear the engagement ring:

or just my wedding bands:

@sjs:  We also got married with just the bands, then this year to coincide with our anniversary and the fact that I’m 8 months pregnant and bored and feeling deserving of a sparkly lol, we got our little diamond re-set into a right hand ring πŸ™‚

pigeon-noises I know I’ve said this before but I simply love your band! No chance of me copying it with the current prices of gold, lol. I know this is off topic but can we see your RHR? πŸ˜‰

@MrsSnowMountain:  oooo of course! any excuse to post a picture of my sparkly πŸ™‚

as for gold, tell me about it. we got offered MORE than we paid for the rings, (which was 2 or 3 years ago now) for scrap value last week at a jewellers! we just started laughing lol. weirdly enough, we haggled and haggled with the jeweller when we commissioned them and ended up only paying scrap metal price for the rings, and got the labour for free!

I only have a wedding band (no engagement), but it’s not really a band, so kind of me!

I wear only my wedding ring for 3 reasons: 1.) my engagement ring belonged to his mother and we want to pass it along to our kids one day, 2.) it was heart shaped and nothing didn’t go with any wedding rings, and 3.) it was a little bulky for me so I wanted something that I could wear all the time, including at work without having to take iit off. I also really wanted a moonstone wedding ring so it worked out well since they are really tricky to find. I don’t have a very good shot of my Engagement Ring, but I was wearing it while getting ready here:

And here’s my wedding ring:

I am just wearing my band now too.  I am pregnant and my fingers are roo puffy.  I like how it looks on it’s own though.  πŸ˜‰

@pigeon-noises:  LOVE this look.

@pigeon-noises:  First of all, I want to say that your wedding band fits perfectly with your long fingers. Plain, wide and yellow gold. This is gorgeous. I will also get married with a band which is similar to yours in this autumn. I also plan to wear my wedding band alone. I don’t often wearing rings. So I would like to ask you how the wearing comfort of such wide ring is? Isn’t it a little bit strange at first? How long did it take for you that you didn’t “notice” your ring anymore. Is it possible to get a photo of the inner palm of your hand? I also like your RHR, although I’m a yellow gold fan. But do they fit together – yellow gold on the left hand and white gold on the right hand? Do you have a photo with both of your hands to see the contrast? I would be very pleased. Thank you!

I just got my new band so this is what I plan on wearing most of the time πŸ™‚  I prefer to wear just one ring.

If I don’t want to wear my large wedding set, I have two bands I stack together. My wedding band is soldered to my e-ring so they stay together as a set.

Not me!  My wedding band really wouldn’t look very good as a stand-alone ring.  I can wear my engagement ring by itself, though, and it will still indicate my status as a married woman because it’s a Claddagh ring. πŸ™‚  I’ve yet to actually try this, though.  Somehow, I just don’t feel right about not wearing my wedding band.
