Oh I love this! I must say that my fave is Cinderella! I had the book when I was younger and would just read it over and over. I loved her dress and it is imprinted in my mind and is very similar for what I am looking for on my wedding day. A dramatic ball gown with some sparkle. After her I would choose Ariel, Repunzel, Snow White, Bella and the one from the frog movie lol. Although, I love me some Tinker Bell and can’t wait for her to get married to a Prince. Maybe change the Peter Pan story a bit.

I always liked Ariel, if that counts. She was smart & curious about the world, and I loved sitting on the rock in my parents’ front yard and recreating the singing scene when I was a little girl! lol

I like Snow White.  She is a nature/ animal lover, she is friends with men, and she uses kindness.

    +1 for Mulan!

She was family oriented, strong willed, smart, and made $hit happen! And had the man crawling back to her in the end! ๐Ÿ˜›

    None of the above.

Raised by men and too hyperactive to watch movies anyway, I never saw Disney princess movies as a little girl. My first exposure to the princesses was as an adult, and frankly, they leave you a little less than enchanted that way. ๐Ÿ˜‰

ETA: I was impressed by Mulan! She’s the only one that sends an admirable message, imo.

AURORA. I wanted to be her so badly. I loved her clothes and long, wavy blonde hair. I loved her singing voice. Phillip was kind of a cool guy too.

I also love Ariel, because she looks mad adorable, has a great personality even while mute, and Ariel is my middle name. Also, the movie came out right after I was born.

Mulan and Belle are my favorites. Both are strong, smart women who don’t need a man to be content. ๐Ÿ™‚

seems like a lot of us would choose the princesses with the more active, less-sexist roles, rather than the ones in the poll, which are more passive and helpless. Makes sense to me.  I mean who wants to be an object when we can be a subject, after all? Guess we won’t be giving up the right to vote or leave the home unescorted any time soon.

ARIEL! I love her, it’s my favorite movie, and Mr. O is so tired of watching it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Given the recent purchase of Lucasfilm by Disney…
