I have been cooking/baking for years, literally I would cook my parents dinner sometimes while in high school and what not. I love to cook and I love to watch people cook. I grew up with a lot of TV personalities cooking shows and now I am getting off that. Now I like to see what not so famous people are cooking up and their spin on dishes. So who is your favorite not so famous cook/baker? Right now mine is Laura Vitale. She is originally from Italy and lives in the US now. She is a YouTube personality and she also has a blog. Her recipes are easy and always so so yummy!!!!

I love Ina Garten! Here recipes are so good. And she’s so calm, collected, and laid-back. And who wouldn’t want to live in that amazing house in the Hamptons?!

I love this blog:
Her stuff is always tasty and generally can be made with things I already have on hand. I also like that she usually lists things that could be substituted for lower calories.

@jesssamesssa: What if they are not famous at all does that still count?

My favorite not-famous-at-all cook would be my husband.

I really like local famous chefs if that counts? My all time was always Jose Garces. Darling Husband and I have been going to his restaurants here for nearly 10 years but then he won Iron Chef (I was at his screen party) and blew up and popped up restaurants all over the place. And you never see him in the kitchen anymore.
Other local favs include Michaal Solomov, Eric Ripert (both chummy with Bourdain), and Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran. They are all local names (except Ripert) and are pretty freakin talented.

@jesssamesssa: Mine is Lidia Bastianich of Lidia’s Italy on PBS! I find her recipes really good and easy to make. Plus, I just like her personality.

I am a huge food network fan. My favs include Giada, the pioneer woman, Ina, among others bt I tend to watch their shows more often, pretty much everyday. I like Ann Burrell too, she is such a fun person to wactch cook.
Non-famous… my husband’s aunt. She freaking rocks in the kitchen. She is famous for her cooking in her family… you always go to her parties because you know the food is good.
My grandmother and mother are the fraking best cooks I know… they can make anything and everything they make is frigging delicious and amazing. I dream about their food, seriously.
