hi we are getting marired at a bed and breakfast, basically just renting their land to use for our tented reception. we dont hae a wedding coordinator like a traditional venue has, so my question is who would be in charge to make sure the reception flows smoothy? i cant afford a DOC (Wish i could!)

I think you’re DJ can do some of it. I would also ask a trusted friend to monitor a timeline as well. To help keep things on track.

DJ or entertainment imho does that well.

My band and my caterer who is kind of coordinating will take care of that for me.

I am using a friend of mine. I am going to provide her with a schedule that has time estimates and the flow.
Ask a good friend who you can trust…. that person along with the DJ will be enough. Don’t waste extra money on a DOC…you can use that money for something else!!!
