Mrs. Meowerson :  Prior to birthright but I’m sure that helped! The younger one went extreme first, went on birthright 3 years before his brother, etc.

Mrs. Meowerson : Same! Fi dad is WAY Catholic and super pro life so yeah…. wouldn’t want anyone to know.   Mrs. Meowerson :  I plan on doing the same. Maybe even to FI/DH lol I will wait to tell him until I am sure I am. Maybe after a blood test.

Okay, that’s hilarious and I can almost see myself doing that…I SO don’t want the attention

A friend I used to work with was slightly over 7 months when she announced at work (myself and one or two trustworthy others did know). She was inline to be promoted to full time (which would get her health insurance etc.) and our boss was a raging a-hole so she was scared that the opportunity would go away if our boss found out she would shortly be taking a year off. There was some physical work associated the job so those of us that knew really worked together to help cover for her. She was a small girl and gained a lot of weight with her pregnancy, it was so obvious to me that she was pregnant but everyone seemed sooooo surprised when she finally revealed, and sure enough our boss was pissed to the max. She feigned congratulations but later complained to another employee about how she had been deceived. That employee (who had always been very loyal to the boss) ended up reporting her and she was disciplined.

Anyways, my little story about sticking it to the man, but that’s the longest I’ve ever heard of.

I didn’t tell anyone other than Darling Husband until 13 weeks. Even then I only told immediate family and people on a need to know basis. I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and coworkers are just finding out and shocked I hadn’t told them sooner. I have enjoyed keeping it to myself.

I have four children.  My youngest is 7 months old.  My husband knew, of course, but no one around us did until about 30/32 weeks.  It helped that I was due in December and lived in tunics all fall/winter.  I had cancer when pregnant with my son (2 now) and I had some issues and I just didn’t want to deal with people asking questions.

So I totally lose because I told a bunch of people as soon as I found out because I’m an awful awful secret keeper however, my Mother-In-Law got pregnant with my Darling Husband at 16 and didn’t tell anyone until 8 months right before she went into labor.

I’m currently 17 weeks and have told close friends and family, but I’m trying to keep it secret at work (and off FB) for about another month. I’m vying for a permanent position and want to have my performance review/planning discussion with my boss first. I’m starting to show, but I’m hoping I can keep it concealed for a little longer. So far I’ve managed through two work happy hours faking gin and tonics… One more coming up, so we’ll see how that goes. Hardest part has been making sure all the aunts and family friends who know keep it off Facebook, because I have some co-worker friends on there as well. So far so good. Fingers crossed.
