    @summerbride12:

    Ok so first I want to say that yes finding the right acces. to go with the dress is the hardest part for me πŸ™‚ so you are not alone…

    You fiance is sweet for buying you the necklace, I have two solutions for you:

    1. You could always wear simple diamond studs – these are beautiful, timeless and always elegant and classy. Same goes for the bracelet (however, price might be a little too much for both for the avergae middle class person, I don’t know what is your budget)…

    2. I think that you can accomodate your FI’s request to wear the necklace by adding earrings that are a combination of pearls and diamonds or pearls and CZ and same for the bracelet, and this way you would be able to make your dream come true too πŸ™‚

    Good Luck!

    Consider this page as a starting point for a combination of both… it’s not real diamonds but CZ with pearls. If you like it and have the $$ for diamonds you can always take a picture and make it custom request at a jeweler πŸ™‚

    My advice with accessories is always: If in doubt, don’t wear it. I think a lot of brides look over-styled.

    Could you wear pearls for the ceremony, and then change to the necklace Fiance got you for the reception? That way you get your pearls and get some beautiful pics with them, but don’t hurt Fiance feelings by still incorporating his necklace into the day.

    Hmm..

    Wear one set to ceremony and the other to the reception? …And-Or one to the rehearsal dinner?

    Another option…If it’s simple enough wear the pendant with your moms bracelet. Pictures might help with discerning, but you may get more opinions (which may confuse you)

    Hope it works out. That was very sweet of your FI

    Aww thats super sweet of him to get that for your wedding day! Im not a fan of the pearl necklace with wedding dresses so im sorta biased! But if it is your dream to wear a pearl set then can you discuss it with him? Maybe there’s a compromise you both can come to? These earrings did come to mind though when you said you might want to incorporate both!

    J Crew and Im in LOVE! Good luck with what you choose!
