Ellak30 :  The ash looks perfect to me! Your hair naturally gets lighter on the ends which is super gorgeous. People pay big money to get that look! I think the ash will give your hair some awesome dimension.

I would stick with the ash. Once you get your extensions in and blended with the rest of your hair, it will match your ends perfectly, and the rest of your hair will look almost balayage-esque. My hair is very similar to your (lighter at the ends naturally), and my stylist advised me to match the color at the ends, because that’s the part that’s the most difficult to blend due to the difference in length.

I think the ash matches the ends of your hair exactly, and once the extensions are in (under your top layer of hair) I think they’ll look great.  If you’re wanting your overall look to match your root color more then I’d go with the chocolate.
