Yeah, my nails suck too. As soon as they get long they flake and split. My thumb nails always split at the side half way down. I am now trying to do my nails every week to keep them nice with clear / nude polish, hoping to get them a nice length so when I get engaged I can really show off my hands!

I love my nails! I used to have issues with them flaking until I used Nailtex, you can still get it at Ulta I believe. I used it a few times and then lost it, never had any issues since! I also take biotin daily which helps with both my nails and hair (which is super long!)

Hate my nails 🙁 I have short nailbeds, ugly hands, and can’t seem to stop picking at my cuticles after 30+ years so the whole scene looks like hell.

I quite like my nails. They’re kinda wide, but they’re long too, always past the ends of my fingers. SO’s nails are adorable, bitten down to horizontal lines – aww!

I love my nails, they are actually one of my favorite features. Mine are wider too I think, but they grow so long they look balanced. When I was younger I used to paint fun designs on them so the wider beds were actually a plus. I moved awhile ago and haven’t found a new nail salon yet but I desperately need to go and get them trimmed they are getting ridiculous! I love them long though, if I ever cut them short I have trouble typing 🙂 I will say though, acrylics and gel nails are terrible for your natural nails. My nails have always been super strong, but the yr I got engaged/married I had gel manicures constantly. By the end of it, my nails were so brittle and wouldn’t grow long at all. It took 3 months for them to go back to their normal length/strength and I will never do that again!
Here’s a pic, please don’t judge my lack of manicuring or the crazy length!

I used to chew my nails, but with regular manicures, I like my nails. And if I keep up with my vitamins, they grow fast and strong! Now if you want to talk about what I hate? MY CUTICLES!

I have a neutral relationship with my nails.
I promise not to expect them to look fabulous if I use them as claws or something (that might sound strange but nails can often be useful as a screwdriver, etc., in a pinch) or stick fake nails on top of them, they promise to grow and look like normal nails if I treat them nice, I buy them some pretty colored paints, they wear them, everyone’s happy.
I’m not a hand model and that’s alright with me. It also helps that long nails give me the heebie-jeebies, so I’m not asking them to have a lot of growth that hasn’t got a finger bed for support. I like a little white, not a lot. And sometimes I like stubby nails. They look cute painted in darker colors especially. Breaking a nail is an excuse to whip out a dramatic dark polish.

I love my nails. I’ve never had tips or anything on them. They’ve always been strong and healthy. And while it’s a good thing- they grow like crazy and it’s a pain to maintain them.
