most of the maggie dresses i tried on were under 1k. this one being a destination dress, it’s probably quite a bit cheaper but i am not 100% sure of that!

i don’t think so! i considered going this way because i didn’t want a huge train! as long as it’s not a big elaborate wedding i think it’ll look awesome!

oh also, you might want to go a little bit out of the city to a shop, that’s what i did and i found the prices were cheaper (i’m in ottawa)

Ahh it looks like the maggie destination dress I fell in love with!

Mine was US$999 exactly, similar shape and detail but a bit different. Good luck!

I don’t think wearing a “destination” dress for a local wedding is silly at ALL!  That is a beautiful dress and I can promise you no one will care that it came from a “destination” line.

Haha, I highly doubt many of those attending your wedding will even know a “destination” line exists.  It is a beautiful dress, and yes, boo to those stores that won’t give you a quote over the phone.  I mean, c’mon..it’s probably right there in front of them on their computer.

OfficeBride: can I ask which store in Toronto sells Maggie Sotter’s Destination line?  I’m looking at getting a second dress (at my parents’ insistence) and there’s one in particular that I’ve had my eye on for quite some time.
