We got a place together because my apartment was a 1 bedroom and while it was a great place there was no way we were going to fit into that place together without killing one another.  We needed a two bedroom so he can have his man cave and keep his mess in there 🙂

We moved in together right after I graduated college.  We’ve lived in three different apartments in the last four years, but we’ve been in the same building for the last three.  We’re probably looking at two more years in the current apartment, then looking for a two bedroom.

Anyone who lives in Manhattan knows that buying is pretty much impossible without a ridiculous amount of money.  If we can’t afford to look at buying over the next 5-7 years, we’ll probably be trekking to an outer borough.  I’ll never give into the suburbs though ;o)

My husband bought his condo before we were married, so after the honeymoon, I moved in! Now we’re looking to buy a single house together…yay!

I didnt really know which option to pick. We got a new apartment together and I moved in in March.  My parents (mostly dad) did not want us living together before we were married so I had the apartment until June when my DH moved in 2 weeks before the wedding.  He technically had his own place the whole time and all his stuff was there, but he stayed at our place almost every night.

I’m moving in to his house. We’ve actually changed it up a lot from a bachelor pad to looking like a cute little house. He wanted to make sure I felt like it was our home and even suggested buying a new place together if I didn’t feel comfortable there. However, I love our place and he does a great job at always reminding me that it’s "ours" and not "his".

I moved from Boston to Savannah so he could go to school. He had a place here, so I moved in with him after the wedding.

Its pretty funny when I think about it!

Each of us owns our own home <- weird sentence? Lol. I was spending the night so much and he always wanted me at his place, that I started accumulating my possesions in his condo. I also have a substantial list of necessities that I must have to be comfortable – like my own face wash, my makeup, my body lotions and face + eye creams, vitamins, my workout clothes for the morning, my deodorant, my toothbrush and toothpaste … you get the point.

So I can clearly remember him at the very beginning standing in the bathroom and giving me a toothbrush and toothpaste and I just started to add my own things into my own little space. Clearly I needed to have my own area for what I loved and wore the most. So he gave me a drawer! LOL – I don’t know why but I’ll always remember the day he gave me my own drawer.

He has this massive closet and in it he picked a drawer for me … eventually I moved up to taking over a closet that was used as a storage closet  … I had to clean it out and it was all junk … guys *rolls eyes*. Than I started adding what I ate to the fridge and pantry, I got a key … haha big DEAL, and than all of a sudden all of my stuff was at his place and not mine.

So yeah, that’s how it happened! My place is currently on the market in this suckey economy. So we both live in his bachelor man-cave … until the time is right to move into a "real" house …

I was in the market for a new job (in another city) and my landlady told me she could rent my apartment for me immediately.  So I moved into his house in February, got engaged in March.  I also got the new job and he decided to move with me so we both got jobs in my hometown 1 1/2 hours from where we were living.  We commuted till July when we sold his house and got an apartment together and got rid of the commute.

I was living in his place more than mine..after being together for two years we now live together in a house that we both rent. We would like to buy a house together soon before or after the wedding, depending on all that junk that you all know about..hehe money, situation, deployments (i would hate having to find a house while he was away), etc..etc 😀

He moved in with me! I already own a condo (but its tiny!) and in this market I can’t sell so I’m stuck!  So we’ll stick it out for a few years…but when we decide to have kid, i dunno how a baby would fit in here!
