I was one of the lucky few who never got wisdom teeth. I’ve heard its really painful, so glad that you aren’t in that much pain!!

I had one taken out last year. I only had one (I’m a highly evolved individual)  😉

Anyway.  I was surprised at how easy it was and how it didn’t hurt at all.  The whole process took less than 5 minutes (keep in mind that it was only one tooth.)  I even went out to the bars that night.

I think the trick is to not get anestisia.  That is what makes you sick.

I had all 4 out, 2 that were impacted, under anesthesia about 3 weeks ago.  I was nervous because I’ve never had any kind of surgery, but it was a breeze!  Not much pain at all, just a little discomfort, mostly at the end of the day, but I stayed regular on my pain meds for the first 48 hours, I have NO pain tolerance and wasn’t taking any chances!  I didn’t swell too badly either, but I could barely open my mouth for a few days, so stick with foods that don’t require much chewing but that also won’t get stuck in your empty sockets since you can barely brush your teeth :/   Really the only thing for me was that I was sooo tired for about 5 days, I guess my body’s way of recovering…Good luck! I think I may need to take mine out! I can feel one fully pointing out on one side and it HURTS! I just dont have the extra 150 dollars to go for just a consultation!

My doctor said my mouth was so big I didn’t need to have mine out… but my mom insisted… I didn’t mind the week off from school when I was in highschool, though!

Fiance actually proposed to me the day I got my wisdom teeth out…like 2 hours after!lol (and no, I wasn’t sedated at all I just had a local because they were not in the bone and I am bad ass like that)

We both had the day off work and he just couldn’t wait!

Ugh…I need to get mine out.  One is growing sideways and it hurts like hell.  I just can’t have them taken out now since I’m pregnant.
