My mom met my stepdad on match.com

She was 51 and he was 50, back in 2007. We joke he has a type, bc his ex wife was a high school classmate of my mom’s. They’ve been together since, have 3 dogs together. He loves her very much.

I met my fiance at 42 years old. We met at the gym, however, we had both just signed up for match. He was active for about a week, and I had done a profile 12 hours before he asked me out at the gym, so i never actually even looked at it. I deleted it without even looking, I had created a separate email just for it. We kinda feel like we would have met on match if we hadnt met in person at the gym.

When I met my husband I was 37 and he was 43. I found a lot of good guys out there on their 40s. I know I wasn’t over 40 so that might not fit your criteria, but he was in his 40s and almost every guy I dated was.

I met my dh at 44 (he was 39) on Match.com.  We actually would’ve missed each other if he hadn’t been persuaded to expanded the age range.  We still have the running cougar joke going between us.   Yep I likes em’ young!

I didnt meet my husband online but I was 45 and he was 52 when we met the old fashioned way….in a bar.  I had done online before we met (don’t remember which site) and met a few men but never really clicked.

I met my husband when I was 44. I guess I saved the best for last after all those frogs. Be open and positive. Men in their 40s are much more evolved and patient. Good luck and the universe always has love to give for those who are ready for it. ❤️🤗

I’m 43 and my fiance is 50.  We met on Match.com over 2 years ago and just got engaged a couple weeks ago in Italy!  He’s everything I could have wished for and so much more!  I definitely had to go through a LOT of frogs to find my Knight in shining armor.

We met through many mutual friends on facebook. I was 42. I took a  good  long time to respond to.his request, and I totally checked him fully out before I accepted.

It’s so weird because I have never before spoken to a man like that online. Lol. I would also never online date, it’s just me.

I met my husband online in 2015.  I was 46 and he was 43.  We met in February, engaged in June and married the next April.  We meet on a not so known Christian dating site.  He was in VA and I was in Delaware.  He moved to Delaware the week of our wedding and we’ve been married 3 1/2 years now

My aunt met her husband online when she was around 42. He was 13 years older than her. They married 4 years after they met and were together until his death last year. Their time together was too short, but they were a true internet love story. We (the whole family) were all lucky to have him in our lives.

Incidentally, I met my fiance through the cousin I gained from that marriage.

jala2020 :

I met my love and man I am soon to be engaged to at the age of 42 on Tinder! I dated a few good and one not so good before him. I was tryin to be optomistic but was running out of hope I would actually meet a good guy. But then I met him and we went kayaking on our first date and he gave me the biggest hug. We hit if off right away and we have been together ever since. Its been a year and a half now almost. We have talked at length about marriage and even set a date probably haha. He has made it known next month he will propose probably. I am so excited and happy. I can hardly believe I actually go so lucky to meet some one like him.

Do not give up. Seriously if I can find someone online anyone can. When I started feeling down about not finding any good men who wanted more than a hook up. I reminded myself that I was on there and if I was on there then there must be other like minded folks. ONline dating can have sucky moments. I found it helpful to meet people sooner than later so I could vet them and move on if needed. I would be very clear to them that if we were not a good match..no hard feelings. It was a much more methodical approach but it worked for me but I had to dig deep to be brave and do it. I am so glad I did ! There is so much love to be had after 40. Best years ever!

I am wishing you the best of luck! happy hunting 🙂
