Our total wedding cost was roughly $20K.

Our families each contributed about $5k, we covered the rest.

Ours was $6.5K total. We originally budgeted $5K from savings, but my parents then offered us $5.5K so we decided to add $1K and include a few things that we wanted but were originally out of budget. That was for 125 guests for an afternoon church ceremony and short reception which is common in our families/area, so just snacks (pinwheel sandwiches, cheese and meat trays with crackers, fruit and veg trays), cake, punch, and wine/beer instead of a full meal. We decided to save the rest of our original budget and go on a honeymoon since that wasn’t originally going to be affordable for us.

We paid for the wedding. About 55-60k (i stopped adding up every single dollar at some point), 90 people. DH parents are both deceased; my parents gifted us 8k (the offered 15, but we accepted 8). My aunt gave me $1k for my wedding gown.

30k for our wedding -My parents paid. I’m their only child, and they always wanted/planned to pay.

My husbands mom & older sister gifted us our honeymoon.

We are extremely grateful.

I paid for my dress.

My inlaws gave us $20K.  We used most of it to cover the wedding, with a little left over.

I was married before so my parents had a strict “we already paid for one wedding” rule.

We paid for our wedding, approx 50k, 50 guests, we provided lodging as my side of the family traveled out of state.  My aunt paid for the rehearsal dinner.

We’re paying 100% of it ourselves, planning to spend about $50k. I paid for my first one myself and he paid for his first one as well.

My parents helped with mine by mom my mom doing hair and makeup and my mom paid for half the rehearsal dinner at a pizza place.

We have zero expectations for anyone to pay for any part of our wedding.

My grandma has offered to host us a party after our tiny destination wedding. She offered an afternoon tea, with cake, punch, sandwiches and dainties. I said sure, our role will be to show up, it’s what she wants to do.

My parents very generously paid for the majority of our wedding. My in-laws paid for all the suits (groom and groomsmen) and our honeymoon (also incredibly generous!). We were very fortunate that our families wanted to gift us so much.

Had they not offered anything we would have happily paid for a much smaller affair.

We paid for everything except for my dress since my mom wanted to buy it for me.

I am very grateful to my mum as she is paying for the marquee for the reception and the food + wine for the tables, and she paid for my dress. So a sizeable chunk of the cost. My husband to be’ s family bought his sister’ bridesmaid dress, so that is also very much appreciated as we had originally budgeted that we were paying for everything as neither family has massive abouts of money to spare! But sadly there is no “normal” to go off a anymore.

I’m my fathers only daughter, so he wanted to pay for it. We didn’t necessarily set a budget but we didn’t go overboard either. I think we spent about $35k on 215 people total. It made me happy to see how excited my Dad was during the planning process. My Mom did pay for the flowers and my dress. We paid for our honeymoon and a few things here and there ourselves.

We are still very early on the planning (summer 2019), but we are splitting it in 3. My parents are paying for their guests and my attire, FI’s parents are paying for their guests and his attire, we pay for our own guests and all the rest (flowers, car, dj etc).
