my mom and sister (MOH #1) paid for most of it (like some of the food and all the decorations and the cake).  Some of my friends brought a dish as they made it a potluck. I even made a dish and paid for what i needed to make it.

I had two. The first my sister (MOH), mom and BMs paid for the second my Mother-In-Law paid for.

I had three bridal showers so seeral different people paid for them.

My Maid/Matron of Honor paid for one and hosted, my Mother-In-Law and Future Sister-In-Law (BM) paid and hosted, and my aunt and ladies from my old church hosted and paid for one as well.

There is a group of family friends that always throw the bridal showers for the girls that get marred in our circle so a group of 10-11 women hosted my beautiful shower ๐Ÿ™‚

I am having 2 bridal showers. The first one is in Michigan, where I’m originally from, and my mom is paying for that one. It will be at a restaurant that serves a gourmet Sunday brunch. My mom rented their banquet room and we’re inviting 50 people. Since it was going to be so expensive, she opted to pay for it all and asked that the bridesmaids plan the games and pass out prizes.

For my second shower, my future mother-in-law is paying, though she did not want to be listed as a host because of etiquette reasons. That shower will be at a country club near Nashville and a light lunch will be served.

I am very thankful to both of my moms for throwing such wonderful showers for us. I can’t wait! One is in July and the other is in September! ๐Ÿ™‚

While my bff (who opted to be my photographer instead of bridesmaid) will be the official ‘hostess with the mostest,’ in all actuality, I’ll be footing the bill and helping to plan.  I’m a major control freak.  /braced for the etiquette police/ ๐Ÿ™‚

Although I may have another shower when I go home (I live 500 miles away from my hometown).  My step-grandfather is a pastor and bridal showers are usually held in the church’s ‘after-we-cry-hell-fire-&-brimstone-we’ll-eat-fried-chicken-here kitchen.’  If that happens, my stepmother & step-grandmother may host and plan and pay.

It’s a big ol’ split with mine, which is better.

My grandmom is letting us use her house, and she’s buying some of the food.  Then my mom is covering more food and invites. Future Mother-In-Law is bringing yet more food, then my BM’s are splitting the rest of it between those who can, so they’re covering the tables and chairs rentals.  Oh, and MOH’s mom is bringing food. There will be no shortage of food, basically. Haha.

My honorary grandma paid for mine. My real grandmother has been dead for almost 21 years, and I’ve known “grandma” for a little over 20 years now.

My wonderful mother and Maid/Matron of Honor are handling the shower. My mom is getting the room and some of the food, my Maid/Matron of Honor is getting the cake and putting together games.
