I’m a bit confused, who paids for the bridal shower? Does usually the bride pays for it?

The bride isn’t supposed to throw herself a shower (because the shower is a direct request for gifts for the bride, it has to come from someone else). So someone else offers to throw a shower for the bride, and that person (or those people) pay.
Alot of times the Maid/Matron of Honor or Bridesmaid or Best Man throws the bridal shower or a family member like an aunt if you plan on having a two showers one for friends and one for family.
Whoever is hosting usually pays! The bride doesn’t usually pay… unless it is an financial strain for your host. Then you could offer to help bring food or something 🙂
My mom and sister are hosting mine, so they are paying.

Whomever is hosting the shower usually pays for it. In my case, it is my Mom.
