Mine is high and, although I never once thought about it, I love it now.  It is an upgrade and when I showed it to one friend she complimented it and said she loves that it looks like it is floating above my hand.  Again, new idea, but I have enjoyed that thought many times since!

I consider mine to be pretty high. It definitely took some getting used to, but I absolutely adore it.

I have a high setting and I love it! I feel it showcases my diamond much better than a lower setting would have. The ring flows up to the diamond so well so it doesn’t seem that high until you see it from the side if that makes sense? There are no rough or pokey prongs so it doesn’t catch on anything. That’s one thing I wanted in a ring, one that was completely smooth and wouldn’t get caught on everything.

I’m personally not a fan – but that’s probably stems from the fact that I have a very practical job and it’d be a nightmare for me to have anything higher than what I have!

ETA there are some super pretty rings on here though!

I loooove my setting. Super high, lets a ton of light in to make my shiny sparkle sparkle sparkle. I have never even thought of having anything else!

@NYBride_421:   gorgeous! We have similar rings in that we both have the smaller diamonds settings that are exposed on the sides! I love this look. It seems to be a little more rare for stones in a band to be set that way and almost no one notices this feature in my ring but I chose it specifically!

@BeeG35:  thanks! Your ring is gorgeous too! My husband actually picked out my ring himself and I loved this feature of it as soon as I saw it! I never met anyone else who had it so I am happy were kind of ring twins ahha

I actually lowered mine cuz I didn’t like how you saw the point of the diamond and the bottom of the setting, but I still consider it high.
