Mine is pretty high.  I’ve actually been told that mine looks like the Eiffel Tower, but I think there was a slight language barrier, as I teach in Korea ๐Ÿ™‚

@AmyLew11:  I can see how it looks like the Eiffel Tower! It’s gorgeous. Is that a radiant center?

Mine is very high although I don’t have a side view.  But, my stone is extremely deep.  It was an issue I started talking to desigers about setting it.  It’s my personal opinion that the depth of my stone gives the otherwise clear stone some depth in color.  Anyway, I would never wear it while getting dressed or doing my hair.  But, I love it.

I specifically got a high setting so a band would sit flush. The gorgeous side detail is just a bonus.

Mine sits higher since I upgraded to the fancy head. It makes the diamond look bigger and I love it! Ps this is my first post on the site so sorry if I did this wrong! ๐Ÿ™‚

I wouldn’t say I prefer a higher setting (it snags on EVERYTHING and can be really annoying), but it can definitely mak a simple solitaire look more elegant ๐Ÿ™‚

I never thought I liked high settings before I got this ring, but I really grew to love it.

High settings really showcase the diamond. Diamond appears larger and more sparklier based on perspective.

Mine is high and I hated how high it is. I asked numerous times for the ring to be low profile when I went over the custom design but the people who made the ring didn’t listen. It really really bothered me that the jewelers cared more about what they thought would look good. I got the ring the day before I was moving from one province to another one 8 hours away so I was left with a ring I couldn’t change.

I’ll admit that now, I love my ring. It looks awesome and my wedding band complements it very well.
