Ours wasn’t exactly an ‘online retailer’ but it was a guy in another state who handmakes jewelry and we found online.  We never met him or visited his shop.  Husband took care of the engagement ring via texting, starting with a sample he found on the website and modifying to our tastes.  I did the same for the wedding bands.  It was great overall.  Inexpensive, silver (which we both wanted) and for the most part he did well keeping us up to date on the whole process.  Are we naming our retailers for this thread? It was EarthArt Gem and Jewelry.

We also got my e ring from MoissaniteCo! They were great! They have also answered questions very quickly about other rings I ended up not getting. My wedding band was from an Etsy seller and I got great service from them as well!

I ordered mine (with fiancee’s help ) from Ritani. It was beautiful, the diamond was gorgeous. I just wasn’t crazy about the head. Ritani would have either returned or exchanged but they didn’t have any of the exact heads I wanted so a local jeweler friend swapped out the head for me and now it’s perfect.

Blue Nile bee for both my e-ring and wedding band. We had really good experiences with their service on both orders.

Mine is from Rosados Box on Etsy! Cant talk too much about the purchasing part, since Fiance is the one who bought it, but I was really concerned with having an ethically sourced ring and that far outweighed any concerns I had about getting it online

Just FYI your poll will probably be skewed towards people who did purchase online, since those who didn’t probably won’t click on this thread

We purchased our sterling silver wedding bands and my amethyst engagement ring from the Etsy seller Jorgensen Studio. She was amazing to work with, and her jewelry is exquisite—so intricate!

    Yes, from http://www.moissanitejewelryshop.com

Their prices were awesome and they emailed me back every time I bugged them about when my ring would be ready. (It was only like 2 or 3 weeks, but I’m impatient. lol)
