@Ninteenthchance:  My husband takes care of the insurance in our family, but he went ahead and tacked my ring insurance onto our home owner’s insurance (I believe through Metlife).  I would check with any current insurance companies you currently insure with – maybe they can even offer you a deal?

Jewler’s Mutual/Perfect Circle – specific to jewlery. Reasonable premiums. I like what it covers… like worldwide loss etc.

I put it on my homeowners… it’s only $40/year!

I found Perfect Circle through Jeweler’s Mutual to be the best value – most coverage at a reasonable price.  It is who my jeweler uses for his own personal jewelry, so I figured if it was good enough for him, it would be good enough for me!  I found the coverage to be more extensive (and cheaper) than it would have been through our homeowner’s insurance.

We also got it through Perfect Circle.

@Ninteenthchance:  You usually get a deal when you bundle. I have everything (homes, cars, life, etc.) at one company. It is the most cost efficient 🙂

I have a stand-alone policy from State Farm, and for ~$16,000 worth of coverage, we’re paying a little over $100 per year.

I tacked it on through our renter’s insurance (through State Farm).

@canarydiamond:  +1  We went through Jewelers Mutual as well. Great coverage and great price.

Jewelers Mutual is who we chose.  If anything happens to the ring they give you cash to replace it.

We found it was both easier and least expensive to just add it on to our homeowner’s insurance (we also insure our cars through the same company).
