So we still have awhile before our wedding but we already decided who would be in our wedding party. I have a huge family and his father is a pastor so he grew up with a lot of people theat he considers family and they ALL wanted to be in the wedding. To make it easier on ourselves and not hurt any feeling we decided on our siblings and each of our best friends making 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen. The problem is one of my groomsmen is my little brother who will be 14 at the time of the wedding and the bridesmaids are all adults. I didnt really think it was a problem but my sister thought it would be weird. Would you feel awkward walking with a 14 year old?

I wouldn’t find it awkward, personally, but I guess I understand why some women would. I think that’s a bit uptight, to be honest… I’d walk with anyone and have fun with it.

My son will be 14 when I get married and he’s a groomsmen. He will be shorter than the bridesmaid he walks down the aisle with, but honestly, I don’t know how or why anyone would have a problem with it. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I think it’s fine. There shouldn’t be any sexual connotation to this. I’m sure a lot of us have been in weddings where we were in relationships (or even married or engaged) but walked with someone else.

I think that’s completely fine; I wouldn’t think anything of it!
