I have a best friend who I have been friends with for about 12 years now. I also have a best friend who I have been friends with for about 5 years now. I love them both dearly and cannot figure out who to ask to be my Matron of Honor. My first best friend got married about 3 years ago. She did not have me in her wedding at all, which I didn’t mind at all because I’ve never wanted to be in a wedding. Do I use that as my only reason for choosing her? I would just think that she would understand considering that I didn’t feel any less of her best friend for her not having me in her wedding. What do I do?

Why not just have two matrons of honor? It would split up the traditional Maid/Matron of Honor work for them, and you would get to show them both how much they mean to you.

I have two (Maid and Matron). I think that it’s nice to have co-MOH’s to split up the work. Given that one of mine is pregnant and one is preparing for a major trial, it’s also working out really well b/c they really can just split tasks.

I had my sister (who is married) be the Matron of Honor and my best friend since childhood be my Maid of Honor.
My maid of honor actually stood next to me, but only because my sister was way taller than the best man and we didn’t want anyone feeling uncomfortable!

I would say have two or don’t have any.
