is your date correct? If so, a lot can change in the next year and a half so I wouldnt make any concrete plans.

With that said, yes you need to invite your MIL’s boyfriend. We all have family members who have chosen partners that we may not love. But that doesnt mean you can exclude them. That would be hurtful to your Mother-In-Law and not a good way to start your marriage.

And the same goes for your cousins.

Don’t stress about things you cannot change. And as PP stated, if your date is correct, hope things will work out by then. Worry about the venue, caterer, dress, and color scheme first. Then come back to the guest list.

That’s a tough one, I really want my childhood bff to attend our wedding. However, I can’t stand her Fiance (he has a bad criminal record) and I don’t want him to come. Problem is, she’s quite insecure and I don’t think she would be comfortable attending by herself. So, he will be invited regardless of my feelings – just have to bite the bullet. If it’s important to you that your Mother-In-Law and cousins attend, I would invite their partners as well – IF they are in stable relationships at the time.
