Hey everyone. I am getting married oct 9th and we are having a church wedding. My question is I dont have a father to walk me down the isle. All i have is my mom is it ok to have her walk me or any suggestions.

You could definitely have your mom do it if she wants. If not, it can be a brother, a favorite uncle, a grandfather, someone who has been influential in your life who may or may not be family…or you can even go solo.

Sure, it is more than fine to have your mother walk you down the aisle. Another option is a brother or a close male family member, or even your future fathe- in-law if you are particularly close.

Your mom would be great! Or any other person who is a very close friend or family member and that you feel a connection with or they are special to you!

These days, you can have anyone you want walk you down the aisle. If you want your mom to walk with you, go for it. I am sure she would be honored 🙂

If you want your mom to walk with you, go for it! Really, you can have anyone walk you, or you can walk yourself.

My dad isn’t in my life, and my mom walked me down the aisle. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
But if you think you’d prefer to have a man walk you down, do you have a brother or uncle that would be willing to do it? Personally, I’d have your mom do it, though 🙂 I’m sure it would make her day.
