My mom and dad, and then my brother to help lace me up! Everyone else showed up after I was ready to take some pictures and visit.  Makeup/hair and putting on the dress was stress free, and I don’t like people watching me get dressed so yeah.

That’s a perfect amount of people. Mine were my mom, 3 girls in bridal party, and my brother since he lives at home.

Just my maid of honor and my mother. The bridesmaids had a separate room

actually, we got ready together in our hotel suite.  it was wonderful and relaxing.  we could walk around half naked and not worry about other people.

the bottle of champagne that we shared while getting ready really helped too.  he had already seen the dress (he bought it) so there was no surprise element.  i love the fact that he zipped me up.

@coffeeeeee:  Honestly, I think that might be too many – from being a Bridesmaid or Best Man in the past, I’ve found that more people just compounds any stress, and too much fussing/’busy-ness’ means you get hyped up and overtired much more quickly.

I would definitely cut out the Future Mother-In-Law and FSILs unless you’re super close to them – let them go help their son/brother get ready.

I’m just having my mom.  Dad will be around but not in room.  No BMs either.  I don’t like a crowd (even family) and no one else will be at the venue as early as me.

In the bridal suite I had Maid/Matron of Honor (my SIL), my Mom, my nephew (he was 1, and was the life of the party!), and 6 girlfriends. I actually invited all females attending the wedding to come hang out, if they wanted to. Some took me up on the offer, and others attended the sporting clays tournament that Mr. LK hosted at a nearby course. The bridal suite turned into a party, complete with food and drinks catered by my venue. Oh, and the hair and make-up team was in there with us, too. I had a fantastic time, and hanging out with everyone really helped me relax.

@coffeeeeee:  the big question is, who do YOU want to be with you getting ready?

ask those people or person.

@coffeeeeee:  I got my hair and make up done alone. Which was fine. I actually enjoyed some pampering without having to talk lol. I just sat and did some thinking. I met my girls at my hotel to finish getting ready (dressed). The photographer was there and did some detail shots and pics of me getting in my dress. 🙂

@coffeeeeee:  i think he would be worried he’d break it or something, haha.  too funny.

seriously, i couldn’t think of anyone else i’d want with me.  my son was my moh (don’t want him to dress me) and my mom can be too uptight.  my dh has a way of keeping me relaxed and calm (him paired with the champagne).  what a wonderful way to start our day together.

I will have quite a few in my bridal suite at the ceremony site and I would not have it any other way.  I have very down to earth and laid back bridesmaids so I will be having all 6 of them plus my mother and fmil there.  Kinda need them there to because my hair and makeup artists will be there doing all of our hair and make-up.

Im going to have my Maid/Matron of Honor and 2-3 bridesmaids (one might be dropping). the 2 moms will probably be in and out of the room and maybe the lady doing our hair cause shes a friend of mine so shes invited so she might be in doing touch ups.
