Hmm I think we wear each other’s pants.  I have control on certain things and vice versa.

I’m totally in control but trying my hardest to not be like that. It’s pretty difficult.

It depends on what it is, but generally speaking, I think I wear the pants but DH thinks he wears the pants. He usually will defer to me though if we disagree.

FH is very laid back and let’s things slide. He’s a notorious and gratuitous procrastinator. I tend to be in control of everything by default. Controlling stuff is too much work. He’d rather just go with the flow and let me make decisions (and complain if I make one he doesn’t like lol)

@ctobride2be:  me, hands down. He knows it too. I’m just way more controlling and a planner where he’s very play it by ear and laid back.

It depends. We each control different things I guess. We like to think we have an equitable relationship and are fair to each other and don’t dominate each other.

Definitely me. FH is laid back and I am not!

@ctobride2be:  Me, without question. I just like what I like and he likes to be told what to do. Sometimes it annoys me but ultimately it works out.

We defer to each other.  Like his dad does with his mom, he always asks me my preference, where I want something placed, etc.  Maybe we like to think the other is in control.

I would have to say me because he’s like a river…he flows. I’m more like the ocean crashing into the waves… I’m more organized, I think faster, remember more…stuff like that.

But I ask for his opinion quite often and do take his feelings into consideration. I don’t make any huge choices without him. We can usually agree on something or we already think the same exact thing already and our convo is just to say we had the same thought.

@evergladebee:  My FI enjoys being told what to do sometimes, too! I used to think this was odd but I’m beginning to see a lot of men are this way because it’s less work on their end and it leaves no room for disagreements.

Let it be known that in our home, Mr. 99 are strictly pants-less…if anyone is running the show…it’s the cat.

Neither of us, we treat each other equally & we’re both pretty much the same way.
