I literally never take mine off. My ring is the perfect size, but I do have an indent on my finger from it constantly sitting in the same spot.
It hasn’t been damaged, and I’m not worried about it being damaged. If something were to happen to it I would just get it fixed.

I take mine off when I’m showering, or using any type of cleaning chemical…otherwise, it stays on. I feel naked without it, and Fiance stays on ring patrol haha.

alhems2015: From where I am it’s always said to wear it all the time, along with it coming off and just wear the wedding band by itself after marriage. But I think that’s quite a olden tradition and a lot don’t follow that anymore.
I dont wear mine all the time. I take it off when I shower, wash my hands, working out and making something messy like cooking and art. Last thing I feel like is scrubbing acrylic off it.

Up until recently I took it off before bed at night and when cooking or doing anything intense with my hands like working in the yard or something. Recently I haven’t worn it at all because my new puppy tried to chew on it, ha ha!

Lotioning my hands, cooking where I’m using hands to mix/knead, it’s off. Otherwise, sleep, shower, work, etc, it’s on my finger. I’d feel lost without it!

My ring is a marquise that tends to get hung on fabric, so I don’t wear it to sleep. I also don’t wear it when I’m in the shower or doing something dirty. I’m very protective of it and worry about losing it or getting it damaged. That may change after several years of having it, but for now this is how I am with it. 😉

I wore my e-ring close to 24/7 in the first years of marriage and then I started getting a-bands. It was in my marital bling about 80% of the time until I started stacking it on my right along with my mother’s e-ring. I kinda like how they look together over there. When I’m working with messy stuff, I usually wear CZ jewelry so that I can channel my inner Eva Gabor.
So, to answer your question, I’ve got marital bling on my wedding finger pretty much 24/7 but it’s not necessarily my e-ring.

Is it me or are there an overwhelming number of bees here saying they paint a lot!? That’s awesome! I need a hobby (other than creeping on this forum…)

Oh, who are we kidding? This forum is a GREAT pastime. 🙂

I wear it only outside of the house. I don’t wear it at home.

I wear mine all the time, and it’s not a figure of speech.
Sleeping, showering, cooking, putting on lotion – it’s on. The ONLY time I take it off is when I’m using kettlebells, because the metal handle of the kettlebell rubs directly against the diamonds in my wedding band, and I don’t want to scratch or dislodge the diamonds. Otherwise, it’s on. Gardening, painting (had a bit of a scare with some blue spray paint once), you name it, I’m wearing it!

I don’t wear my rings while at home.

so I have mine off more than I have it on. I’m a nurse and don’t wear it to work because my ring rips gloves, gets exposed to hand sanitizer, can get exposed to body fluids, and runs the risk of getting thrown away by accident (I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve lost hair bands taking off gloves.) so I only get to wear it at home and let me tell you – I miss my engagement ring! I plan on getting a cheap cz ring though to wear at work because it feels wrong having nothing on that finger!

I always make sure I have it on when I’m out in public, but at home if I’m doing other things where it gets in the way, I’ll take it off.

Mine only comes off if I’m doing something gross like hand mixing ground meat or bread dough (when I don’t want food in/on my ring), otherwise, it stays on all the time.
